During a one-on-one session with a sport psychologist, the athlete/client and the sport psychologist will typically discuss the athlete/client's specific concerns and goals related to their performance and well-being. A treatment plan will be developed to assist the athlete/client in achieving their goals and ultimately improving their performance.
The sport psychologist may also work with the athlete to develop a plan for addressing specific issues that are impacting their performance, such as anxiety, stress, or self-doubt. The sessions may also involve teaching the athlete relaxation and visualization techniques that can be used before competitions or training.
It's important to note that the content and duration of each session may vary depending on the athlete's needs and goals, as well as the specific approach of the sport psychologist.
